Orders

The website allows a person (“user”) to place electronic orders ("order") for one or more products on offer as long as such products are available and not sold out.

A purchasing contract ("sale") between the user and Mirage Carpets shall be complete only once a user has placed an order and the payment has been processed fully, meaning Mirage Carpets has received and accepted the payment.

Payment

If payment fails due to the account not existing, insufficient funds, the credit card number or other information being incorrect etc. the purchase will not be successful. The above is dependent on the product being available.

For EFT payments kindly note the following:

  • The banking details are on the receipt

  • You have 24 hours to pay and send us proof of payment.

  • If you don't pay in time, we'll cancel the order on your behalf.

  • Orders placed after hours, on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next official business day.

If you wish to pay cash into the Mirage Carpets bank account, the bank charges will be for your account. You will be required to make a further payment to cover the cost of a cash deposit fee.

Additionally, You can come into any one of our branches to pay cash at hand.

For payments made from outside of South Africa, please ensure that all bank charges are covered from your side. Mirage Carpets is not liable for bank charges incurred for international bank transfers.

Availability

Please note that stock of all items on offer is limited, particularly our stock of handwoven rugs. Mirage Carpets will make all reasonable attempts to ensure that customers are notified when stock may be low on a particular item.

Returns & Exchanges

We are happy to exchange goods within 7 days of purchase, please note that the customer will be liable for the shipping costs including both collection and delivery. You will have 7 days from purchase date to contact us about an exchange or incorrect order.

Cleaning Services

Collection, cleaning and delivery takes 3 to 7 days depending on several factors: The condition of the rug, the size of the rug, and weather conditions. Mirage Carpets will not take responsibilty for changes in the characteristics of the rug, including changes in the colours of the rug. Rugs which are older than 10 years are typically more susceptible to changes in colour after a wash. 

Home Trials

Remeber we offer free home trials, eliminating any worry or hassle when selecting a rug. Simply come into any of our branches, view and choose and we'll have the rug delivered to your house for a viewing. Please note that we only offer this service withing 15km of each branch.
